Disease Prevention and Risk Reduction

Studies have linked sulforaphane to a reduced risk of cancer in humans.

A study in the Journal of Nutrition reported that treating liver cells with compounds contained in cauliflower reduced the production of lipids that increase heart disease risk when found at high levels in the blood.

Research has shown that a high intake of cauliflower lowers the risk of an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
